This logo animation is inspired by the Signages in Cairo that are always falling and broken with no maintenance , the sound and motion are also inspired by the Egyptian streets and dominos that are always played at cafes asa "qahwa". Neon Colors are inspired by the noise in the Egyptian streets and the harsh light that spikes your eye on your way back at the ring road.
Preserving, documenting and restoring the typographic letters and signage in Egypt is a dream that every Egyptian and Arab is looking forward to. Tashkeela Musuem is coming to life to fulfill this dream by exhibitinng and showing the arabic language and signage from the heart of Downtown Cairo. Tashkeela aims to keep the younger generations proud and attached to their arabic language and culture. Tashkeela was inspired by a German Museum in Berlin called the Buchstaben Museum.
